On March 8th, Whole Foods and BBBSMC celebrated their partnership to develop healthier, stronger communities across Chicagoland. BBBSMC was recently the beneficiary of their One Dime at a Time program (when you bring your own reusable bag to Whole Foods, you can donate your 10 cent bag credit). Incredibly, these bag credits added up to over $50,000, which will go directly to support our organization’s mission to bring one-to-one mentoring relationships to at-risk children in Metro Chicago.

After a check presentation ceremony, matches from our Workplace Mentoring Program with The Marketing Store and Saint Ann School in Pilsen explored new food in a store scavenger hunt, finishing together around the table.
