Bowl a strike. Make an impact. Start Something for a child in your community. Bowl for Kids' Sake serves as the agency's premier fundraising event. After raising awareness and funds, we thank our supporters with a a Bowl for Kids' Sake party at their local bowling center. The money that is raised helps to lift the hopes and aspirations of children who deserve an opportunity for a better future. Because of Bowl for Kids' Sake, more Bigs and Littles can be paired up, more friendships can be gained and improved outlooks on life can be started.

Brunswick boasts several bowling centers throughout the Chicagoland area, and offers bowling, billiards, video games, and more. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago currently holds the majority of its Bowl for Kids’ Sake events at a Brunswick bowling center, making the partnership a natural fit. Lindsay Bartels, Director of Event & Group Sales at Brunswick, agrees, “We have 17 centers in the greater Chicagoland area so it seemed only natural that the Brunswick Zone and Brunswick Zone XL locations would want to partner with such a great organization. We are very excited and we look forward to the 2011 - 2012 Bowl for Kids’ Sake events.”

AthletiCo has been a fantastic partner of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago for many years. AthletiCo provides physical therapy, occupational/hand therapy, work rehabilitation, and fitness services throughout Illinois, Milwaukee, and Northwest Indiana.

For over 30 years, Bowl for Kids’ Sake has served as the signature fundraising "Thank You" party for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago.  After a month of raising awareness and funds, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago thanks their volunteers with a Bowl for Kids’ Sake party at a local bowling center. Close to $500,000 is raised annually, helping to lift the hopes and aspirations of children who deserve an opportunity for a better future. Because of Bowl for Kids’ Sake, more Bigs and Littles are paired, more friendships are launched, and improved outlooks on life begin.
